Application of АС15-АС400. Elite diamond powders are effectively applied in stone working, boring and truing tools, in shaped rollers, at operations of precision dressing and grinding. Elite powders refer  to special brands of powders.

In a serial powder the contents of the basic fraction, with the characteristic of the quality matching its nominal average value, usually is within the limits of 20-40 %. Thus in the tool oriented for work of diamonds, according to the average mean   of  the quality characteristic, less than half of grains will work effectively.

Taking into account the features of production technology of diamond tools and sphere of its application  the following characteristics  of  the diamond powders quality are of interest for the specified range of grit sizes and brands.

As a criterion of uniformity of a powder under the chosen characteristic of quality, the contents in a powder of fraction (W, %), matching rating data of a powder is accepted.

As  the processes of separation of diamond grains   in the chosen fields of forces occur in conditions of mass transferring and submit to probability regularities, the raise of uniformity of a powder occurs proportionally of increasing in amount of additional re-cleanings and can attain 90-95 %.
The diamond tool on the basis of elite powders with the increased uniformity of quality works more effectively, the specific consumption of diamonds decreases, as the overwhelming  majority of diamond grains work with equal efficiency.
